L’esperienza Erasmus si è conclusa felicemente per gli alunni di ITC e IPIA: i protagonisti hanno condiviso con il blog le loro impressioni ed esperienze…in inglese. Buona lettura!
Since I took part in this Erasmus+ project I had no idea what I could expect.
When I heard by mistake from one of my English teachers about this project I felt very curious. I asked how to join and after the “recruitment” I was luckily in.
This project opened my eyes to the world; I met new people, made new friendship that I still keep, discovered and learned new cultures, conventions and customs; I visited new places that I never visited before, that were frightening!
The best aspect of this project, I think, is that you can visit places for free, meet new culture and people and also compare yourself and your local habits with the people who live there. It was easy, thanks of course, for the task we had to prepare and discuss all together at school.
The main title or theme was “Volunteering as a benefit – Entrepreneurship” and what does it mean? I learned, after all the meetings, if you can do the best for someone, do it! No matter what, no matter if other people are against you, you know what you’re doing and that’s all from your heart! Helping others in difficulties make them life better and easier than it was before for a bright future; fighting against children spoiling, racisms, discrimination…; I also learned something new about economy, in fact the other topic we talked about were: how different our business is, our economic strength, what are team groups and how to achieve the best result working together as a real team!
The first meeting we attended was in Italy in our town Ortona and it was my first time I met the other country’s groups; who never expected to meet such a good and friendly people! It was the first time for all of us, especially the Italian group from my school, we weren’t the best but after that meeting and the other one in Romania we gained lots of experience and at the end we made all the best.
The place I’ll never forget is Romania, Iasi; We’ve walked through the mountains, forests, typical villages and castles a lot, even if the day when We went to the castle was raining! That was fun! But for the rest of the week was mostly hot and sunny so we enjoyed the beginning of the summer.
The third meeting was in Bulgaria, in Botevgrad. Even if the city is about 40 minutes by bus far from Sofia it is a very typical city. The centre is very nice, especially the “clock-tower”, a very old clock tower building in the middle of the square, we fortunately got the opportunity to go upstairs and see the city view from the above. The first day when we arrived we went to the stadium to see a basketball match, I was very thrilled to see how Bulgarian people keep such a good support to their supporter team. Also, in the evening we went ice-skating with all the friends we made that day; we had a lot of fun moments!
The last mobility was in Prague, in Czech Republic; the best but also the worst one: the best because I had the opportunity to have my presentation about my native country in the European Union curacy; in the other hand it was the worst one because hereby that it was the end of it all. In Prague we have visited lots of historical buildings and places, for example “Wenceslas Square” that is the well-known or the most famous square in Prague. The best place I visited there was the “Katedràla Svatého Vìta”, that is really huge and picturesque, I was impressed the most by the external architecture but the windows kept my eyes away, the colours were charming!
I think any piece of all the journeys kept something from me and I also kept something from them… well, that’s happiness! Just simple happiness that I shared and I’m still sharing with all of my friends remembering all the best moments we had together. In addiction I had a cultural experience that let me to open my eyes and mostly my mind to the new future.
I hope one day to meet them another time or more and not to let our friendship off. I want to deeply thank all the teachers as well involved in this project who worked hard for all the project.

I’m Giulia and I’m so glad to my teacher for choosing me for this project. At the beginning I didn’t know how difficult could it be but I was really excited because I was working in an ERASMUS + project. We also had the possibility to meet people very kind and professional and actually I’m happy because we sometimes talk and chat on Internet. During the first meeting we were all shy but in few days we met each other thanks to the activities performed and then we discovered beautiful cities, cultures and especially we tasted food together. We learnt a lot of Volunteering and Entrepreneurship, with slides, texts and researches, and we also had fun together with quizzes and games. At last I really hope that this type of project will be always performed and I would like to participate again to this magnificent and exciting experience.

Hi, I’m Giuliano and I’m very happy to have been chosen to be a member of the Italian team for the Erasmus + project . At the first two meetings we were rather shy but when we went to Bulgaria we proved to be a team and we left everyone amazed by our performance. The last meeting in Prague instead was the top, we exceeded our limits and we “split”. I think these projects are very important for us guys because they give us very important cultural and personal experiences, and above all they make us meet with fantastic people. I hope to be involved in other projects like this!

It was the first time I participated in a Erasmus+ project, it gave me a lot of opportunities, I learned a lot of new things and visited new places.
Also the activities were very interesting, well organized by all the partners and I learnt so many new aspects of different Countries I visited. Of course I improved my English and I’ve spoken for the first time with people of different Countries and I understood how important is the knowledge of foreign languages.
We spent two years analizing aspects of “entrepreneurship” through the study of soft skills, the characteristics of the entrepreneur, business incubator, team work and volunteering. We also started a project of volunteering with the help of our teacher Romina Marchesani and Dr. Giuseppe Spadavecchia who introduced us to the world of Volunteering through the Radix Unica Association.
I felt very good with all the people who took part in this project, I lived beautiful moments and I enjoyed them a lot, so I only want to say thank you to all the people who I had the pleasure to meet during these two past years.

The Erasmus + projects “Open your arms for who need them” and “Rightful perception of reality “ have been two unforgettable experiences for me! They encouraged me to learn and improve my language skills and most of all they made me discover sides and aspects of mypersonality I did not know. Actually I feel more open and tolerant towards new realities, foreign people and habits! Thanks a lot for this opportunity my school, IPIA “G.Marconi” gave me and my friends!
