Prepararci per la mobilità Erasmus+ del progetto TOGETHER NOW FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR PLANET ci ha portato momenti di ansia, preoccupazione misti ad altri di gioia ed euforia.
Un mix quasi fatale per quattro giovani studenti dell’Ipsia G. Marconi che stavano per vivere un sogno ad occhi aperti e ne erano inconsapevoli!!!
L’ansia per noi si è moltiplicata quando, proprio gli ultimi giorni prima dell’inizio della nostra avventura, ci hanno comunicato che saremmo partiti in anticipo, e quindi, tornati anche a casa prima e con un itinerario degno de Il Giro del Mondo in 80 giorni!!!
E così, con delle piccole valigie piene di vestiti e gli occhi e i cuori pieni di sogni, abbiamo preso quell’areo per Istanbul e poi Gazipasa in Antalya.
A dire la verità, la prima notte non è andata proprio per il meglio: ci siamo trovati infatti in un hotel sperduto, location adattissima ad un film horror…ma obiettivamente poteva andarci peggio!
Fortunatamente il giorno dopo siamo arrivati in una specie di paradiso terrestre, il Gran Akca Hotel lungo la riviera di Gazipasa.
Una meraviglia!!!
Il giorno dopo ancora, dopo la coinvolgente cerimonia di apertura e accoglienza, abbiamo conosciuto delle persone fantastiche, ma allora non lo sapevamo ancora.
Tutti diversi tra noi, con sogni e aspettative differenti, con ambizioni personali, con lingue e culture proprie, ma accomunati da un unico desiderio: vivere quest’esperienza al massimo e trarne benefici.
Più i giorni passavamo e più assumevamo le caratteristiche di una famiglia unica, grazie alle attività collaborative che gli esperti docenti hanno organizzato magistralmente come, ad esempio, la partita di pallavolo in spiaggia, la raccolta dei rifiuti in una spiaggetta paradisiaca, l’escursione con visita alla diga, alle cascate e alle rovine dell’antica città di Side, la raccolta di ortaggi e frutta nel rispetto della sostenibilità o ancora la partita improvvisata di calcio nella palestra della scuola.
Piccole cose che messe insieme, ci hanno accompagnato in questa corta ma intensa settimana. Da 5 nazioni diverse siamo diventati una famiglia sotto le stelle della bandiera dell’Unione Europea!!!
E poi ieri, la nostra ultima notte insieme. Tutti temevamo l’arrivo di quel giorno perché avrebbe messo un punto a questa grandiosa settimana.
Forse non rivedremo mai più questi amici, o forse sì, chi lo sa, ma sicuramente ognuno di noi, nessuno escluso, si porterà a casa un pezzo di qualcuno, tanti insegnamenti, tanto cuore, tanto affetto e tanta condivisione. Erasmus+ ci ha dato la grande opportunità di avere tutti gli stessi obiettivi: salvare la terra cominciando dall’ amicizia, dal cuore e dalla voglia di condividere.
E per citare la nostra prof: ”Erasmus+ is the beginning of the rest of our lives”!!! Grazie Erasmus+, grazie ai nostri pazienti e bravissimi docenti che non si sono risparmiati per rendere questo evento unico e irripetibile, ricco di insegnamenti. Grazie prof. Alberto, prof.sse Danila, Alessia e Romina e a tutti coloro che dall’Ipsia G.Marconi ci hanno sostenuto per tutta la settimana.
Preparing for the Erasmus + mobility of the TOGETHER NOW FOR THE FUTURE OF OUR PLANET project has brought us moments of anxiety, worry mixed with others of joy and euphoria.
An almost fatal mix for four young Ipsia G. Marconi students who were about to live a daydream and were unaware of it !!!
The anxiety for us multiplied when, just in the last days before the beginning of our adventure, we were told that we would have left early, and therefore, also returned home earlier and with an itinerary worthy of Jules Verne’s Around the world in 80 days!!!
And so, with small suitcases full of clothes and eyes and hearts full of dreams, we took that plane to Istanbul and then to Gazipasa in Antalya, Turkey.
To tell the truth, the first night was not the best: we found ourselves in a remote hotel, a very suitable location for a horror film … but objectively it could have been worse!
Fortunately, the next day we arrived in a kind of earthly paradise, the Gran Akca Hotel along the Gazipasa Revere.
The next day, after the enthralling opening and welcoming ceremony, we met some fantastic people, but we didn’t know it at the time.All different from each other, with own dreams and expectations, with personal ambitions, with our own languages and cultures, but united by a single desire: to live this experience to the fullest and benefit from it.The more the days passed, the more we assumed the characteristics of a single family, thanks to the collaborative activities that the expert teachers have masterfully organized for us such as, for example, the volleyball match on the beach, the collection of waste in a paradise beach, the excursion visiting the dam, the waterfalls and the ruins of the ancient town of Side, the harvest of vegetables and fruit in respect of sustainability or the improvised football match in the school gym.Little things that together have accompanied us in this short but intense week. From 5 different nations we have become a family under the stars of the European Union flag!!!And then yesterday, our last night together. We all feared the arrival of that day because it would put a stop to this great week.Maybe we will never see these friends again, or maybe yes, who knows, but surely each of us, no one excluded, will take home a piece of someone, so many teachings, so much heart, so much affection and so much sharing. Erasmus + gave us the great opportunity to have all the same goals: to save the Earth starting from friendship, from the heart and from the desire to share.And to quote our prof: “Erasmus + is the beginning of the rest of our lives” !!! Thanks Erasmus +, thanks to our patients and talented teachers who worked and made many efforts to make this event unique and unrepeatable, full of teachings. Thanks prof. Alberto, prof.sse Danila, Alessia and Romina and to all those who have supported us from Italy and from Ipsia G. Marconi throughout the week.
