On Monday 21, Tuesday 22 and Wednesday 23, February 2022 we participated in the virtual mobility of the Erasmus+ KA229 project Together Now For The Future Of Our Planet. The meeting was masterfully organized and conducted by the coordinator of the lead school in Prague, Mrs Kateřina Čumbová. Before the meeting, all the details of the programme, timetables, connection platform and links, activities to be carried out and time dedicated to each partner school have been shared by the host school. During the three days the students got to know each other, collaborate and share the characteristics of their countries through pleasant and engaging virtual presentations and trips. All this allowed the students to “breathe a different air” after months of lockdown due to the pandemic that forced them into isolation. The students then presented the Travel Manual and the Newsletter number 3 in which they collected the most significant experiences related to the topic of this mobility: Breathe and let breathe.
At the end of the first part of the presentations, each school has concluded its own path through an engaging game with Kahoot. The students ventured into the competition with great enthusiasm and participation. The second part of the presentations focused on the theme of the meeting: Breathe and Let breathe. The students analyzed different aspects of the air around us, air pollution, layers of the atmosphere, causes and effects of pollution, statistics and possible actions to be taken to solve the problem. The methods of investigation, analysis and research were different and very effective. The presentations were absolutely valid, varied and very significant. Particular attention was given not only to the topic to be treated but also to the presentation methods, trying to develop and improve not only communication and linguistic skills but also digital ones. In fact, new applications and software have been used to develop the research. The mobility has been a real moment of encounter, a pleasant, interesting and fruitful sharing of different styles of teaching and learning. The students were carefully guided by the project team in all operational phases, from brainstorming on the topic, to the research phase, choice of sources and implementation of the work up to the review of the final product. All this and the excellent relations among the partners have favored the success of the mobility.Absolutely to underline the officiality and importance given to mobility by the principal of the lead school, Mrs Vladimira Michalikova who opened the meeting with a very significant and engaging speech, reminding all participants of the seriousness of Erasmus+ planning and the educational validity of international exchanges.
